About Library

The information needs of the faculty, students and research workers are met by the library which came into existence in 1996 and grew parallel to the development of the Institute. Originally accommodated on the ground floor of the pre-clinical block, this library was shifted to its present premises in 2006 and was named as VSPM's Dental College and Research Center Library.

The Library building consists of a carpet area of 11000.08 square feet and seating capacity of 200 persons. For the benefit of the undergraduate &Postgraduate Dental students, Since August 2006, the library remains open round the clock, seven days a week including Sundays and holidays except national holidays. Its present collection consist of 5919 books, 1717 bound journals and 497 DVDs. The library is currently subscribed to 442 journals.and thesis.
