Reference, Consultation & Circulation
Reference service helps users to make full use of library resources and services. It provides necessary assistance to users in locating information or document of their choice. The Library had given on loan 10201 books and other documents to its members during the current year. 23615 users including students, medical professionals and faculty members from academic institutions used the library. It is open from 09.00 AM to 09.30 PM on all working days and from 09.00 AM to 01.00 PM on Sunday (Except holidays).
Printing, Scanning and Photocopy service
Library provided 1428 print outs to individuals on payment to users and 1657 prints to faculty & officials, free of charge. It provided 8628 pages of photocopies to individuals on payment. The library also supplied 9231 pages of photocopies to the institute faculty free of charge. It also provided scanning facilities free of cost.

The library continues to alert the users about the latest information of their interest by:
- Additions, new arrivals
- News items display
- Useful articles Display
- Faculty publications display
- Display of Scholarship and fellowship information
- Display of Forthcoming conferences, other national and international events, employment
Opportunities and prospectus of foreign universities.
